The "Snowy Winter" screensaver consists of five wintry scenes set within the alcsnow java applet (and I'm in ALL of them!). It should run on most any Pentium PC. The "Winter Snow" screensaver includes the same five images set within Ion Chen's "Snowing Slide Show" (http://www.6sense.com) java applet. Because it includes both a falling snow effect and a cross-fade transition between images, it uses a lot of CPU power; therefore it runs best on higher-end systems with an 800MHz or faster processor. The "Lakes of Winter" consists of five winter lake scenes set within the java "lake" applet (no, I'm not in these--the water's WAY too cold!). |
